Policies and Taking Care

Adult Safeguarding

It is important to us that the practice context we share is a safe one. Kusaladhi is the Safeguarding Officer for both Triratna groups in Fife. He can be contacted by confidential email on ftsafeguarding@protonmail.com or approached directly at any group event with issues and concerns.

Data Protection

When you first attend our group you will be asked if you want to provide basic contact details. This includes a phone number for emergency contact and membership of our What’s App group and an email address for an occasional email about local and Scottish events. Providing these details is entirely voluntary, and you are welcome to attend any of our meetings even if you choose not to share them.

Our detailed Data Handling Policy is under development. Once this is complete it will be posted here.

Environmental Risk Assessments.

We undertake a risk assessment of each of the venues we use. These indicate that the actual risks we meet at venues is small. Which in turn reflects that we use venues well managed by community schools and the Queen Margaret hospital and abide by their procedures for managing physical, fire and environmental risk.

Please contact us directly if you would like to see any of the risk assessments.
